Got away with something today. Temp was perfect, a little too cool this morning for bugs, no wind, and my new spray gun performed perfectly - no runs. I sprayed three crosscoats of Polyspray on this airframe outside and had great results. My Sonerai IILS is now covered in silver and no sunlight is getting through. Time to get the wings built. Tom

Thanks Ed. This fabric success comes in no small part because of your excellent article on Sonerai.net. The only previous fabric experience I have had was on RC Cubs and such. I had been waiting for the perfect day to risk spraying outside, and yesterday was the day. Color coats will be done in an enclosed area next spring, because I don't think I can be so lucky twice, lol.
BTW, after cleanup and while waiting for the Polyspray to dry, I managed to get the main tank out of the Skylite. Its a decent aluminum tank with a sender, and appears to be about 7 gallons. Now its on to stripping and recovering the Skylite's fuse.

That's an excellent idea Ed. I don't doubt the essays will save many a lot of potential grief, as they did for me.
