Thanks to Jeff Lange, and Jason Pike for bringing us to this stage on the net.
Look for the main website to grow with pictures, narratives, etc, and I hope in the meantime people use this proboards forum to get acquainted, and discuss different aspects of the SAA.....
Please remember, SAA is a donation based organization! We are hard at work getting out PayPal account set up. In the mean time you can send your donation to:
Sport Aviation Association 361 Whiteplains Place Gilbert, S.C. 29054
Thank you for your support!!!

Glad to be here. Ed so glad we got to met at Airventure, now a few years ago. Grassroots and building on a shoestring budget, I wish I had kept that issue of Popular Mechanics (?) that posted Paul Poberenzy's first homebuilt.

Glad to be here, Ed. I'm excited to see the SAA grow, and appreciate all the hard work put in by yourself, Val, Jeff, Jason, and everyone else who has contributed so far. Thank you all.

Ed glad to see you up and running. Hope to see you at Triple Tree. EAA just put out a new Hotline and you're getting mentioned in the Forum "What should EAA look like?". You might what to put in a plug there. Ron

Hi,Ed,
You gentlemen are certainly in high gear. I can only imagine the huge amount of work you've put into relaunching the S.A.A. I'm impressed and hope it keeps growing.

Thank you to everyone who has made comments, and are supporting the SAA. My computer certainly is feeling the strain, as we have had considerable trouble sending out an SAA 'update' this week,, and SAA member Eric D. and his wife Linda helped me 3 nights to get something out, with over 50 being returned as undeliverable......? Now, my e-mail access has been shut down,, but hopefully by tomorrow, I can get back in and reply to e-mails, which, by then, will be a huge backlog. So I ask all to be patient as we work thru the teething stage!! At least I can still gain access to this Site and Forum!!.....Ed F.

Thanks Ed for approving my membership so that I can post on the forum now and then. You might recognize the old fool at the top of the stairs, your truly. You might say a little longer in the tooth but still some hours left in the air frame. I'm so glad you resurrected SAA, as it was undoubtedly my favorite magazine to read cover to cover. I still have ALL of the issues that I read now and again. I know putting this all back together is a major undertaking on your part, and if I can help in any way, please let me know. Also, look for another check to SAA in your mail box soon. You are going to need it and I am only to happy to help. Cheers Merrill Attachments:

Thanks, Merrill, for the kind words. Our datum is that old Magazine, and Paul's vision. I see the interest in SAA is high, which tells me that people are hungry for a grass roots organization. Thank you for being a part of it.......Ed Fisher

Welcome Vicky! Glad to have you in the group. What type Fairchild are you restoring? I had a f-24w project, Wish I would have kept it! I would assume you are going to Grassroots?
